10k Prize and Category Rules
The following rules shall apply in allocating runners to categories and distribution of category prizes.
Categories: Under 18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, Over 60
In addition, there is an Overall Male category that includes all male runners, and an Overall Female category that includes all female runners.
Minimum age to compete is 15.
Category Definitions
Age ranges in brackets are inclusive. Categories are identical for Male and Female.Categories: Under 18, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, Over 60
In addition, there is an Overall Male category that includes all male runners, and an Overall Female category that includes all female runners.

Category Allocation Rules
- Age on race day is used to allocate runners to categories.
- All runners are part of the Overall category for either male or female.
- All runners are also allocated to one of the above age related categories.
Prize Rules
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded for both male and female Overall categories. Overall prizes are based on gun time, i.e. time from race start signal to crossing the finish line.
- 1st prize will be awarded for each of the above age related categories. Category prizes are based on chip time, i.e. time from runner crossing the start line to crossing the finish line.
- A single runner may only receive one prize. A runner receiving one of the overall prizes is not eligible for a category prize.
- No Team prizes will be awarded.
- All finishers will receive a medal.
